William Shakespeare – Words of Wisdom

I have always found that William Shakespeare plays and dialogues to be some of the most meaningful quotes. Here are a few of my favorite ones:

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”

“Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once.”

“This above all: to thine own self be true.”

“Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon ‘em.”

“It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”

“Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.”

“How far that little candle throws his beams. So shines a good deed in a weary world.”

“They do not love that do not show their love.”

“Listen to many, speak to a few.”

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become and still, gently allows you to grow.”
